The site extends to 1.67 acres (0.66 Ha) and is positioned within the heart of Baildon town centre, as edged red on the Site Location Plan found in the ‘Documents and Downloads’ section. The opportunity consists of a former Mill complex, the original Mill pond and areas of hardstanding (utilised mainly for car parking). The oldest parts of the site date back to the early 19th Century, the original block (labelled A & D on the Proposed Site Plan Refurb located in the ‘Documents and Downloads’ section) is Grade II Listed. A newer large portal framed warehouse and attached 3 storey building (constructed in the 19070’s/80’s) has now been demolished.
